Beret Bliss: Adventures of a Francophile in Paseo
Maybe I’ve been cooped up in the house for too long, but my inner diva is dying to fly across the world and be released after quarantine. Everyone has somewhere or something on their “to-do after Covid is under control” list and mine is to cross the Atlantic again and visit sweet Paris (possibly partially inspired by binging Emily in Paris this weekend). Good thing beret’s are on trend for the winter because I’m living for cold weather clothing in the bitter Oklahoma winter, and going to pretend my way into thinking I’m sitting at an outdoor café somewhere far away.
“Je vois la vie en rose”
The cold weather months can get dark, and have you longing for rose colored glasses. Luckily I keep warm thoughts and toasty taste buds in tack with this Trina Turk coat and my Starbucks Skinny Vanilla Latte. La Robe, La Ceinture: The Shirt Dress, The Statement Belt

Ooh La Rouge
Rouge or Red is my favorite statement color and here I sport some of it in my beret, my booties, and my lipstick. For me, red is a mood enhancer and during these dark, gloomy winter days, I gain some energy from wearing red in my outfits. These accents make my francophile heart so happy I almost want to download Rosetta stone and re-learn it. Life as we knew it will resume sometime this year, but until then c’est la vie.
